Dr Thomas Briggs is a specialist periodontist with a background in military dentistry and academic teaching. He completed his undergraduate training at James Cook University as part of its first graduating cohort in 2013. Following graduation, he undertook an Australian Army scholarship and practised as a General Dentist from 2014 to 2019.

Tom later completed postgraduate specialist training in Periodontology at the University of Queensland, graduating in 2022. He continues to serve as a Senior Dental Officer in the Australian Army and is dedicated to providing personalised periodontal care through collaborative, patient-led treatment planning.
